Software AG Product Upgrade
We define Upgrade as the updating of a Software AG product version within the same operating platform (e.g., from Linux to Linux).
- Example: Upgrading from Adabas 7.1 to Adabas 7.3 or updating your Natural environment from an older version to the latest one.
Upgrade Adabas, Natural, Net-work, EntireX.
We modernized the installation by configuring access from web browsers and activating REST API for querying Adabas files.
Install
Download and configure the Empower installer. Perform a clean installation on the same server. Adapt the environment to accommodate multiple versions.
Adabas migration
Database conversion to the new version.
Natural migration
Adaptation of configuration files, natparm files, and natural buffer pool. Fusers are copied, and a complete cataloging of all libraries is performed.
Predict and Natural Security
Conversion of predict to the latest version and update of natural security.
Entire net-work
Configuring the database infrastructure on the network. New version of ADI and creation of new service start/stop scripts.
Entirex
The new version of EntireX is now owned by IBM. We installed the new product, configuring the defined ETBs.
